Synopsis:
Xena meets a child who is gravely ill and muses that she would swap places with her if she could. Aphrodite overhears and, believing Xena meant it literally, she obliges. Xena's spirit is now trapped in the body of Daphne and will remain there forever if Aphrodite and Gabrielle cannot reverse the spell. Daphne/Xena goes home to her father and Xena tries to persuade her to talk to him about her mother, who was recently killed in an accident. In the meantime, a group of thugs have been instructed to capture Xena by their boss. When they find out that Xena is inside Daphne's body, they decide to kidnap her instead. Gabrielle and Aphrodite steal some precious oil from the twins Castor and Pollux, which will restore Xena to her rightful body. Then Gabrielle enlists the help of Daphne's father, Galantis, to rescue Daphne/Xena. Daphne and Galantis now have a greater understanding of each other, whilst Xena is restored to her own body. She and Gabrielle say goodbye to their new friends.
