Deja Vu All Over Again
Deja Vu All Over Again
Written by: R.J. Stewart
Directed by: Renee O'Connor
Edited by:

Regular Cast
Lucy Lawless as Annie Day
Renee O'Connor as Dr. Mattie Merrill

Guest Cast:
Ted Raimi as Harry O'Casey
Kevin Smith as Ares
Robert Trebor as Marco Marsh
Tammy Barker as Mattie Acting Double

Synopsis:
Fed up with the obsessive antics of his Xena-mad girlfriend Annie, Harry takes her to see a regression therapist to prove to her that she is not, as she believes, a reincarnation of Xena. Mattie, a bogus therapist, brings forth a vision (much to her own surprise) involving herself, Harry and Annie. Annie is horrified to discover that she is actually a reincarnation of Joxer whilst Mattie was once Gabrielle and Harry was, in fact, Xena! Mattie tells her scheming business partner that she no longer wishes to con people anymore. He laughs at her and begins to change - he is no other than Ares, the God of War. He has planted a bomb in the building and he ties them all up and then leaves. Harry breaks their bonds, stops the bomb and fights Ares who gives up and leaves. Annie realises that she and Harry were not meant to be together so she leaves Mattie and Harry to fall in love. She exits singing her version of 'Joxer the Mighty' but to the words of 'Annie the nanny, she kicks fanny'. (Note: Don't blame me for this: those are the words!!! In the US, this refers to a slightly more innocent part of the anatomy than it does in the UK!!!).
