Synopsis:
A bounty hunter, out for Xena's hide, is murdered at Cyrene's tavern and on Gabrielle's birthday. Everyone is under suspicion. Xena and Gabrielle must work out who killed her before Discord (the newly appointed Goddess of Retribution) takes her revenge on everyone.

Synopsis:
Ephiny is killed in battle by Brutus and Amarice, a young Amazonian warrior, takes the news to Gabrielle. With Ephiny's death, Gabrielle is queen of the Amazons once more. She agrees to lead them in battle against Pompey's men and she spares Brutus' life. Xena and Gabrielle then defeat Pompey and give his head to Brutus to take to Caesar. Gabrielle mourns Ephiny and passes the Queen's Mask to Chilapa.
