Too late, Xena and Gabrielle realise they may have made a mistake, as the villagers from her town see her as an animal and wish to kill her. As well as this, her adoptive father is in great pain at his child's loss and wants her back, even if this means war with the villagers. Fortunately, the girl is able to keep the peace between the villagers and the Pomira by choosing to go back with the Horde but promising to visit her real parents from time to time.
