Synopsis:
Xena is reunited with Gabrielle but all is not as it seems. Hope has returned, bringing with her the Destroyer and she is intent on revenge against Xena and Gabrielle and will destroy anyone who gets in the way of her plans.

Synopsis:
Xena and Gabrielle must protect a town from a warlord and his army, but neither of them are in the best of health. Xena finds out that the warlord, Acestus has captured Argo and she vows to reclaim her. Joxer gains access to the warlord's camp by becoming the new cook and making all the soldiers ill with his cullinery skills. When Xena sneaks into Acestus' camp, Argo refuses to come with her and Xena is forced to leave without her. Acestus gives chase on Argo and he charges at Xena who refuses to move out of his path, much to Gabrielle's horror. Argo grinds to a halt at the last moment and throws Acestus from her back. Xena and Argo are reunited and she and Gabrielle start to feel a little bit better. Joxer, however, now seems to have fallen ill instead!
