Xelifus
Brutus' lieutenant, who has been commanding the legions in his absence. He is more than willing to pass command back to Brutus on his return (see "Endgame").
Xena
Born in Amphipolis, Xena is the daughter of Cyrene and (arguably) Atrius, who was loyal to the god of war, Ares. Xena had two brothers, Lyceus and Toris, however, Lyceus was killed by Cortese when he attacked their village. Xena vowed this would not happen again and gathered an army of her own. However, events led her down the dark road and she became a pirate. When her men were killed by Caesar and she herself was crucified, she vowed revenge on the world. For years she wreaked havoc until she met Hercules who convinced her to become good. From that moment on, Xena dedicated herself to helping others and fighting for justice.
Xena has many skills.
Xenan
The son of Ephiny and Phantes. Xenan was so-named by Ephiny, in gratitude to Xena who delivered him (see "Is There A Doctor In The House?"). Xenan is seen again in the episode "Maternal Instincts".
Xena Scrolls
The first of the scrolls was found by Harry Covington, the famous archaeologist/grave robber (delete as necessary!) and Janice's father. The scroll relates the story of Callisto's capture by Xena.
In "The Xena Scrolls", Janice was searching for the remaining scrolls, which were found in Ares' tomb. The scrolls were written by Gabrielle but how they came to be in Ares' tomb is not known.
Xena's Sarcophagus
There has been much speculation as to where Gabrielle got the impressive sarcophagus in which Xena was laid to rest in "Destiny" and "The Quest". It has been noted that the design on it is similar to the design of Xena's breastplate. It has also been linked with similar designs on M'Lila's clothing.
Xena's Skills
We know these are many. They include battle tactics, dancing, doctoring, surgery, inventing, sewing, martial arts, swordplay, archery, hunting, riding, swimming, acrobatics and fishing.
Xerxes
King Xerxes is a tyrannical king who is heavily taxing his people (see "The Black Wolf"). A group of them rebel against him, calling themselves the 'Black Wolves'. Xerxes is furious and determined to find out who their leader is. Xena arrives on the scene and poses as a mercenary. She agrees to help him find out who the 'Black Wolf' is by befriending the group, gaining their trust and then revealing the leader's identity. Xerxes is pleased with Xena's efforts until he finds out that she has tricked him. He attacks Xena but is defeated and killed.
